Effective date: 26 August 2026

BFS Digital Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17210196. Registered office: 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX. BFS Digital Ltd operates its websites and digital services through its own corporate identity and trading brands.

1. Acceptance

By using this website or its services you agree to these Terms of Use and any additional platform terms displayed for the service you use.

2. Platform role

BFS Digital operates digital technology, information, directory, networking and recruitment services. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, BFS Digital does not itself provide medical diagnosis, treatment, nursing, dental, pharmacy or other regulated healthcare services.

3. Healthcare provider responsibility

Healthcare providers are solely responsible for the healthcare services they provide, their patients, clinical records, clinical decisions, consent, confidentiality, safeguarding, professional registration, insurance, clinical governance and CQC obligations where applicable.

CQC registration attaches to a provider carrying on a regulated activity. A directory listing does not transfer the provider’s CQC responsibility to BFS Digital.

4. Information and listings

Provider, employer, candidate and advertiser information may be supplied by users. Users are responsible for ensuring their information is accurate, current and lawful. BFS Digital does not guarantee the completeness or continued accuracy of every third-party listing.

5. Verification

Where a service offers verification, verification is an administrative platform process and is not a guarantee of clinical quality, outcome, suitability or future regulatory status.

6. Prohibited use

  • False identities, qualifications or regulatory claims.
  • Fraud, phishing, malware or unauthorised access.
  • Unlawful discrimination.
  • Harassment, threats or abusive content.
  • Unauthorised scraping or commercial extraction of protected platform data.
  • Uploading confidential patient information without lawful authority.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Manipulation of reviews, rankings or platform visibility.

7. Intellectual property

BFS Digital Ltd and its licensors retain rights in platform software, source code, design, databases, database structures, branding, original content, documentation and other protected material. No licence is granted beyond the limited use necessary to access the service.

8. User content

You retain ownership of lawful content you submit. You grant BFS Digital a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, format, display, index and distribute that content as required to operate and market the service.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, safeguarding, fraud prevention, non-payment or material breach.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to mandatory law, BFS Digital is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or goodwill. For business users, and subject to mandatory law, aggregate contractual liability for the relevant service is limited to the greater of £1,000 or fees paid for that service in the preceding 12 months.

11. Third-party services

Third-party services, links and integrations operate under their own terms. BFS Digital is not responsible for services outside its reasonable control.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

UK Private Clinics Terms

Effective date: 26 August 2026

UK Private Clinics is operated by BFS Digital Ltd.

1. Directory role

UK Private Clinics is a digital directory and discovery platform. It is not itself a healthcare provider and does not accept clinical responsibility for listed clinics or professionals.

2. Provider responsibility

Every clinic, practitioner and healthcare organisation is solely responsible for its healthcare services, patients, clinical records, diagnosis and treatment, consent, confidentiality, safeguarding, insurance, professional registration and CQC obligations where applicable.

3. Provider information

Providers are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of their profile, treatment descriptions, qualifications, prices, claims, images and other information. BFS Digital may request evidence and may remove or restrict information that is inaccurate, unlawful or unsafe.

4. CQC

CQC registration is the responsibility of the healthcare provider where a regulated activity requires registration. A directory listing does not make BFS Digital the CQC provider or transfer any CQC obligation to BFS Digital.

5. Clinical information boundary

The current directory service is not designed to collect or hold patient clinical records. Users should not upload diagnoses, symptoms, treatment records or other patient medical information to an ordinary directory profile or review.

6. Future services

Any future booking, patient communication, clinical or follow-up application will require a separate assessment and legal framework before launch.

7. Advertising

Health claims must be accurate and appropriately substantiated. Paid placement does not itself constitute clinical endorsement.
